INLEAP Photonics develops safe, laser-based drone defence
Social responsibility and societal relevance are core values at INLEAP Photonics. The further development of our system was driven by evolving security conditions: INLEAP® FASTLIGHT® SHIELD is a safe and precise drone defence system. It leverages our ultra-fast laser beam steering technology to intercept targeted drones using a highly precise, high-speed laser beam.
Drone defence with INLEAP® FASTLIGHT® SHIELD is significantly more cost-efficient and safer than the use of conventional systems: our system is an eye-safe and laser-based solution, enabling controlled and responsible deployment in urban environments to protect people and critical infrastructure.
INLEAP Photonics delivers high speed in laser technology
Lasers are a key technology in modern manufacturing providing highly precise, efficient, and reproducible processes in material processing. Laser beam steering systems are used to move the laser beam across the surface of a workpiece. Our INLEAP® FASTLIGHT® technology is up to 2500 times faster than conventional galvanometer or polygon scanners. This increase in speed is achieved through the innovative pixel-based approach of INLEAP® FASTLIGHT®, which operates entirely without any moving mechanical components.

INLEAP Photonics was founded as a spin-off from the Laser Zentrum Hannover e. V. As long-standing colleagues and a well-established team, we share the goal of making the performance of high-tech laser system technology safely and readily accessible for real-world applications.
Our management team consists of highly qualified experts and brings together extensive know-how in laser technology, optics, process automation, mechanical engineering, and business development.
